Electric Love!

Hey everyone!

In case you haven't noticed, I loooove music. It's so.....energizing!
ANYWAY.
The last poll was on what's your favorite type of music. The results happied me. (Is that a word?)
ROCK Music came in first!! Wahhoooo!! I love rock music. Here's a list of some of my favorite rock bands (I'm sure some of you have heard of lots of them)

Don't be shocked but: I don't like pop. *gasps* Pop is, like, the most famous music out there! Here are pop people I know:

SIX FLAGS!

WOW!
For World Youth Day, I went to six Flags along with most of the teens from my church. It was my first time EVER going!!! Our chaperone didn't know that, and said that I should try The Titan. So....The Titan was my VERY FIRST ROLLERCOASTER EVER! It was so scary, but it was fun:) Then we went to the Batman. THAT was my favorite. And then we all did the ship thing, Aquaman, and the log ride. For dinner I had a chocolate shake and fries...haha. Anyway, I had an awesome time! Six Flags was totally fun! Have any of ya'll gone before?

SNACK RECIPE: Non-sushi sushi :)

I can't help it. I love snacks.
My mom buys Sushi Nori for her homeade sushi. She spreads mayo over one sheet, then cuts up avacado, carrots, smoked salmon, puts on spinach and olives, and adds a little grated cheese. Then she wraps it all up, cuts it up, and, viola! Sushi. Of course, we don't put on sticky rice 'cause it's VERY hard to make. So, there is my mom's version of sushi. Well, before I liked sushi, I made my own "Kid-friendly" sushi. I now call it (for obvious reasons :P) Non-sushi Sushi.

NON-SUSHI SUSHI

1 leaf of lettuce
2 pieces of meat
1 slice of cheese
1 carrot
Some mayo


Serves one
Spread mayo on the lettuce. Put on meat, then cheese, then the carrot. Roll up. Devour. Then make another. :) And of course, enjoy.

My new fav bible verse!!

Hi everyone!
Ok, so while my mom was reading the gospel a couple days ago, I found my new 2nd favorite bible verse:

"For you are like unmarked graves, and men walk over you without realizing it."

Haha, it's creepy but awesome! Shows that the bible has everything: Love stories (Song Of Solomon) Poems (Psalms), Dramatic stories (Job), Funny stories (Nehemiah 6-8!) and so on.

And my other favorite bible verse:

"Lord, I am not worthy to recieve you {under my roof}; but only speak the word and my servant will be healed."

I have many other bible verses that I like, but these are my top favorites. :)

Armadillo attack!

Ok, so I promised I would have a post today....
...so here it is.

A couple mintutes ago, I had to go take clothes off the line (AT NIGHT!) And Abigail (my lil sis) came with me. We had just gotten to the clothesline, when I heard this hssh hssh hssh. Abigail freaked out, and I thought it was just our cat, Sami. WELL. I WAS WRONG. I looked across at out garden, and there was this huge amadillo! So naturally, Abigail and I screamed our heads off and raaaaaan back into the house. So then Dad comes out with his rifle and goes out and shoots The Abominable Armadillo. But it got away!! NOO!! So NOW there is an armadillo on the loose! Keep your eyes open! Mwaha! :D

Oh, and Micah (my lil bro) went and got the clothes for me. THANK YOU MICAH!

RECIPE: Carrots and balsamic vinegar

I am a foodie.
There, I said it. I LOVE FOOD. Which is ironic because I'm so skinny.
But anyway, I looove to snack and here is one of my favrite snacks that I eat when Mom is around (the healthy kind).

CARROTS AND BALSAMIC VINEGAR (boring name)

2 large carrots
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Peel and slice carrots into "coins." Put in a small bowl and add the rest of ingredients. Enjoy!
NOTE: Variations: You can also add red or orange peppers, cut up, a tomatoe (cut up) and an avocado (you guessed it-cut up) If you want it to be a full meal, add lettuce, cut of chicken, and cut up apples.

Long time no post...

Hi everyone!
WoW it's been awhile since I last posted! So much has been happening...our new co-op CHEC, school, speech and debate....
Oh yes! And on September 11th, Raegan turned 15!! Wowza...And not much else has been happening, oh yes, CHEC is a co-op we go to every Monday. I met a couple friends. Pretty cool, huh? And in Speech, I'm doing a Humorous Interp, a Duo, Impromptu, and MAYBE Debate...yay!! Speaking speech and debate...it's tonight!
What else have I missed...oh yeah. My favorite. SCHOOL. I'm learning Latin! I know Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (Mica, Mica, parva stella), and the sign of the cross.
And I almost forgot: Soccer!!! Soccer is my LIFE! We go every Wednesday and Friday...it's been really awesome:)

FIRE!!!

Ooh yes! A real fire. Right in our yard!

Let me explain.

It was...last Wednesday? Last week sometime. It was 115 degrees outside, and it was about 4:15. Raegan (my sister) went outside to get something out of our garage fridge (which doesn't work anymore, but that's not important) and she saw a bunchy of smoke on our back acres, and all our goats (we have 5) and our dog were running around by our barn. So Raegan called 911 (her first time) and Mom and me went to get the goats and our dog (Zeke). Then a guy and his daughter, who saw the smoke, came over to help us. I got to help put out the fire. !!! But I got a bit of smoke inhalation and dehydration after that-no hospital or anything. Then the Firemen came!! By now the fire on our back acres had spread to both of our neighbors lawns, and the firemen were busy with that. Then, around 5-ish, all the fire was out (but not really, because the next day, our neighbors tree burned down because of the extra fire). The firemen thought maybe the fire was from our electric fence-but it hadn't been working, so maybe not-or from exploded cow manure!!

Hedgehog sitting???

Ok, so my best friend Maddie went to Sea World, and she needed someone to petsit her hedgehog. Who was the most mature of her friends?

Me, of course.  :P

So I got *cough* had *cough* to take care of her hedgehog. But it wasn't that bad.....except for the fact that she has an Albino hedgehog. They have red eyes. She's still cute though. Oops, I never said her name: Miss Prickle Pants. Nice name. It suits her well, if you ask me.

So, that was my week.

The Princess Bride-movie

So we just finished watching The Princess Bride.
Oh. My. Gosh.
That is one of the best movies ever. Great actresses/actors, Great plot, Great story. I loved it.   Have any of you watched it? If you haven't, you must! I'm not going to tell you about it, (of course) but it is VERY funny, and VERY good. :) I cannot say ENOUGH!! You must watch it!! It's rated PG, just so everyone knows.... ;)
